

Saitone was one of the first creators of 8bit music in Japan. He was one of the earliest technology enthusiasts to embrace the gameboy as a musical instrument and is probably the most famous artist in Japan’s 8bit scene.
Recently he’s been using a gameboy color during his live shows. His live shows consist of two handheld gameboys and a Roland mixer. When watching Saitone, it looks like he is just playing a game, but his fingers which are furiously pushing buttons are creating some of the best 8bit music out there.
During the « Lo-bit Playground 13.0 -5th Anniversary » he did a great Thriller 8bit tribute mix of this Michael Jackson compo.
